The UvA Library has recently acquired access to the UCLA LoPucki Bankruptcy Research Database. This databases maintained by the University of California Los Angeles was founded by mister LoPucki and contains data on all large bankruptcy cases in the U.S. since 1979.
The Library opens Onlinebrary, a digital study environment. Even though you're stuck at home, it’s great to still be able to see your fellow students. After all, you're not the only one studying. Go to MS Teams to find the Onlinebrary. This is a motivating and inspiring online study environment where you can concentrate on your study together and meet one another for a chat.
As of January 1 2021 the UvA subscribes to Boardex North America in Wharton WRDS. It contains information about executives. Each individual profile has information on remuneration, including salary, bonuses, and incentive pay, and relational data, including education, notable achievements, other boards an individual is involved in, and the individual's age and experience compared to the sector. The database contains the name of current and past organizations, positions held and, wherever verifiable, the start and end dates of the association.

Thomson-Reuters Institutional Holdings (13f) Database provides Institutional Common Stock Holdings and Transactions, as reported on Form 13F filed with the SEC.
IBES Guidance is a database with numeric company expectations across 14 measures using press releases, transcripts of corporate events, and IBES earnings forecasts.
The Accounting and Oversight module is designed to illuminate the big picture of the audit and regulatory environment. With this database, gain insight into audit quality, trends in PCAOB inspections, shareholder satisfaction with auditors, Auditor Intelligence, Financial Reporting Quality, Due Diligence, Compliance Monitoring.

ETFG uncovers data on the listed Exchange-Traded-Fund assets in the US.
Since 30 September 2020 UvA users can access Bureau van Dijk Bankfocus and Bureau van Dijk Orbis within Wharton WRDS. Access through the own interfaces of Bureau van Dijk was already possible since 1 May 2020.
Since 31 July 2020 the ebook platform Dawsonera ceased to exist. Between 2010 and 2015 the UvA Library acquired ebooks from this platform. Those ebooks now have the status Temporarily not available in our catalogue. We are trying to get those titles active again via other platforms.

Collection formation is aimed at supporting education and research of the Economics and Business department at the University of Amsterdam aswell as at the Amsterdam Business School. A large part of the collection can be found online. The part that is not available online and recently acquired or frequently used, can be found on the second floor in the Library Learning Centre Roeterseilandcampus. Another large part of the collection is located in our depot.
