The University Library offers informative guided tours for various groups and individual visitors.

About the guided tours

Individual tours are given in Dutch; group tours can also be given in English.

There's a lot of interest in the tours. If no dates or time slots are visible, the regular tours are currently fully booked. Please try again later.

Types of guided tours
  • Regular Guided Tours (registration required)

    Number of participants: 5–15
    General guided tours are held weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 AM, except during exam periods and public holidays. These tours are open to everyone and will be given in Dutch.

  • Group Tours

    Number of participants: 5–20
    Architects, medical professionals, fellow libraries, and universities from both the Netherlands and abroad can request a group tour. The availability of group tours depends on the academic calendar and the Library’s events program. Group tours can also be given in English upon request.
