The University Library (UB) at Singel is the only UvA location that remains open during the UvA closing days (25 December to 1 January), except on 25 and 26 December and 1 January, when it will be closed. On 24 and 31 December, the UB will close earlier than usual.
The Reading Room at the Allard Pierson will remain closed for a longer period, from 23 December to 1 January.
Please note: During the December recess, there will be no book deliveries from the book depot.

Bring your college card, employee card or library card. Unfortunately, access is not possible without a pass. Please note that library locations during exam periods are only accessible to UvA students and employees. All other pass holders can only pick up and return materials during these periods.
