Access Policy

Don't forget your card

The Library is accessible upon presentation of a valid physical pass for UvA students and staff, AUAS students and staff, and for registered borrowers. During examination periods, access restrictions apply to pass holders not affiliated with the UvA.

Restricted access during exam periods

Due to busy moments during examination periods, the library locations are then only accessible to UvA students and staff.

All other pass holders can only pick up materials during these periods (on showing their pick-up notice) and return them at the UB Singel location. The Allard Pierson Reading Room will remain open for all pass holders.
