Total size of the collection: about 4500 titles across multiple locations from which the most important are: the University Library, the Science Park Library and the reference library of the Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy. The collection astronomy is at the level of a collection for teaching and research. Astronomy is classified under the Library of Congress Classification (LCC) QB. Several hundred publications of observatories are available for consultation by appointment.
