If a publication is available in a database to which Pure has access, such as PubMed or Scopus, you can import it directly from the database into Pure:
You can also import from a file in RIS, CERIF (OpenAIRE) XML or BiBTeX format:
If the above does not apply, then you can add the data manually:
Besides publications, you can add other output, such as 'Activities' and ‘Press / media’. Examples of an ‘Activity’ are giving a talk, a journal editorship, or the organisation of a conference. An example of ‘Press / media’ is a radio interview.
With a publication, you affiliation with the institution(s) where the research took place and for which you wrote the publication. If you (now) have a new position, you should refer to it in a footnote (or "acknowledgments"), including your new contact information.
This is important for transparency reasons, so that it is clear (including for reporting purposes) which publications were actually written as part of the UvA.
In Pure, you can authorize a colleague to register your research output.
The next time the colleague logs in to Pure, they will have the option to make changes on your behalf.
