Library

You can find a lot of information online and in our databases. But sometimes you need that one specific book or magazine, and that's where we can help you. To borrow items, you need a student or staff card from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) or Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS).

Online Access to Collection

UvA students and staff members can access databases and digital journals to which the Library subscribes also from outside the UvA by logging in with their UvAnetID.

UvA Library scan service: request digital scans of IWO-depot print materials via the contact form, up to 20% and max 40 pages per publication.

If you can't find a particular book at the UvA Library, we can borrow it for you - from other Dutch libraries.
