The Library Academy is back! Mark your calendars for Monday, 20 January, to Wednesday, 22 January. This three-day event offers a unique opportunity for teachers and education professionals from UvA, HvA, and VU to acquire new skills, discover innovative tools, and network with colleagues.

In short, hands-on workshops, you will explore the latest developments in education and digital technology. Whether you want to enrich your course materials with digital media, explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI), or learn more about using open educational resources, the Library Academy has something for everyone.

The full list of workshops will be announced in mid-November 2024, and from that point on, registration will be open.

Advice & support

As a lecturer (or researcher), you can visit the Library year-round for advice and support. Whether you want to improve your digital skills—like exploring the possibilities of ChatGPT in education—or create an optimal mix of learning materials, or even integrate podcasts and 3D printing into your teaching, we’re here to help.

Networking & knowledge sharing

During the Library Academy, we will showcase our expertise with inspiring workshops. The Library Academy also offers opportunities for networking and exchanging knowledge on current developments in higher education. Will we see you there?
