Kees van Leeuwen is hosting a series of tours on Saturday 14 September. His art explores human interaction within architectural spaces. During the tour, he shares his vision of the air raid shelter, a place built for protection against nuclear threats during the Cold War. Van Leeuwen describes the paradoxical calm these shelters now exude, contrasting with their original function in times of fear and uncertainty. His philosophy on isolation and threat offers a unique perspective on how physical spaces affect human emotions. Other tours are done by volunteers.
On both days, 14 & 15 September, there will be continuous guided tours from 10:00 to 17:00. Registration is not necessary.
