Local residents recently received a Neighbourhood News message in which we announced that there would be more large and complex transport operations in the period ahead. This is due to the delivery of foundation piles, foundation and sheet piling facilities, a crane, and grout and grout installations, among other things. This requires alternative driving routes and time windows.
In our message we also informed you about the transport routes, indicating which transport activities would be taking place before 7:00. A distinction was made between:
• Delivery of sheet piling facilities and auxiliary crane. These will be delivered before 7:00 and unloaded immediately.
• Delivery of sheet pile walls, one shipment each day. These will be delivered before 7:00 and unloaded at 8:00.
The sheet piling facilities and auxiliary crane will be delivered one week later than was announced previously. This is because both machines are currently being used for another project which is unfortunately running a bit behind schedule. It is therefore not possible to transport these machines to the UB site. Instead, they will be delivered one week later on Monday 16 September and Tuesday 17 September.
Both machines will be delivered before 7:00 and unloaded immediately. Additional crane equipment and supplies will be delivered in a separate lorry before 7:00 on the same morning and unloaded at 8:00. Starting on Wednesday 18 September, one shipment of sheet pile walls will be delivered each day. The sheet pile walls will be delivered before 7:00 and unloaded at 8:00
