At the Binnengasthuis area, child-care Kinderrijk rents the building at Binnengasthuisstraat 46. After discussions with child-care Kinderrijk about the plans for the University Quarter earlier this year, Kinderrijk has announced that it will cancel the lease as of 31 January 2020. In the meantime, Kinderrijk has canceled the rent of the building already on 9 May 2019.
Within the framework of the redevelopment of the University Quarter after renovation, Binnengasthuisstraat 46 will be used for education and research at the Faculty of Humanities.
