How to find old and rare books

Allard Pierson, the collections of the University of Amsterdam, has a large collection of works printed before 1850. Most of them can be found in UvA CataloguePlus. The titles that are not in the online catalogue can be found either in the card catalogue in the main Allard Pierson Research Room or in the one at the Artis Library.
