Inaugural lectures at UvA

Many inaugural lectures from the period 2000-2018 are available in full text via CataloguePlus.

In CataloguePlus, type the author and / or some words from the title, followed by the word lectures. Change the menu on the right of the search bar, which is set to All by default, to UvA author.
Example: Verheul lectures.

To find an oration from before 2000, search with the word redes (vorm). For example: Rothuizen redes (vorm), and then search in All.

Non-UvA inaugural lectures

Inaugural lectures held at other universities may be found in Narcis (especially after 2000) or in WorldCat Discovery.

In Netherlands Research Portal, you search by author and / or some words from the title and the word lecture. Example: Kemner Lecture.

In WorldCat Discovery you search for the author and / or some words from the title and the word redes (vorm), example: smit canon redes (vorm).
