From 16 June, the P.C. Hoofthuis Library will move to a new location. This is in preparation for the opening of the University Library Vendelstraat, in the University Quarter. This means that the printed collection on the first and second floors will no longer be available for request from the date of the move. Hoofthuis, under one roof. The Library Vendelstraat will open on 1 September, and from then the collection will again be available in an open shelving system. This open shelving contains no less than five kilometers of bookshelves.
Books can be returned at the PCH desk until Wedenesday, 11 June.

Requested materials can be picked up and returned at other library locations during the summer. This also applies to external borrowers. When you place a request in CataloguePlus, you will see where you can pick up the materials.
After the library relocates from the P.C. Hoofthuis, you can still study there. A total of 127 study spaces will remain available on the ground floor:
So you can continue to study at the PCH during the summer period and the new academic year. Prefer another location? Check the overview of study locations.
