Funding is vital for advancing both your research and career. Yet, identifying funding opportunities tailored to your needs can often feel overwhelming and time-consuming. But worry no more! The Library offers access to ResearchConnect, a comprehensive funding database that simplifies the process of finding and securing funding at every stage of your research journey.

All on one platform

ResearchConnect aggregates funding opportunities by pulling data from a wide variety of sources, including government agencies, private foundations, corporate sponsors, international funding bodies, and sector-specific organizations. Among many others, ResearchConnect provides access to funding opportunities from the EU (Horizon, ERC), the Netherlands (NWO, KNAW, TNO), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Science Foundation (NSF), UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wellcome Trust and the World Bank.

Research Connect is a useful resource for researchers at every career stage, from early-career academics to experienced professionals. For instance, early-career researchers, including post-docs, PhD candidates and Master’s students, can also use Research Connect to find research grants, travel funding, fellowships, and scholarships.
