The Open Science Community Amsterdam (OSCA) will showcase 10 winning projects from researchers, educators, students, and support staff across Amsterdam. The awardees will pitch their projects, sharing how they’re advancing transparency and openness in research.

Three guest speakers will discuss this year’s OSCAWARDS theme: Trust in Science. Researchers Dr. Bojana Većkalov (VU) and Dr. Anne-Floor Scholvinck (Rathenau Institute), and journalist Menno van den Bos (FD/NRC) will discuss their work related to (mis)trust in science, followed by a panel discussion exploring how the scientific community—and the Open Science movement in particular—can foster greater public trust in science.

Whether you’re deeply involved or just curious, you’re very welcome to join. Come get inspired, meet the people from the Open Science Community Amsterdam (OSCA), and be part of the conversation!
