From a critical examination of the concept of 'truth' we explore themes such as bias and censorship, and how you can have a good conversation about this in your class. We also share valuable tips for recognizing disinformation, also in relation to GenAI. 

After completing this workshop: 

  • you have a clear understanding of what constitutes disinformation  
  • you know the most important criteria for critically assessing content (including GenAI content) 
  • you have a better insight into various aspects of disinformation, including the role that your confirmation bias can play 
  • you have gained inspiration for possible applications in your education
