After completing this workshop:
you are familiar with versatile podcasting options and are able to determine which best suits your educational goals and design
you know various platforms and are able to make podcasts accessible and discoverable so they can be seamlessly integrated into teaching
you are able to effectively prepare content for podcasts, or work independently to create them
you understand the nuances between different podcast formats and know how to use them to achieve both basic and advanced learning objectives
During this workshop, we will provide an overview of various podcast formats and give you assignments to tailor them to your specific teaching goals. You will leave the workshop with the skills and confidence to independently create engaging podcasts and use them effectively in your teaching practice.

Lecturers from the HvA and UvA who wish to use facilities for recording podcasts after the workshop at the VU can also do so at the UvA and HvA. Please inquire about this with the workshop provider(s).
This workshop is part of the Library Academy. Teachers and support staff can participate in workshops from Monday January 29 to Wednesday January 31, 2024 at the Libraries of the University of Amsterdam, the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
