Learn to Combine: Create the Optimal Mix of Teaching Materials

How do you put together an optimal mix of teaching materials? An optimal mix of learning materials often involves not only closed but also open materials. Both tailored to lower and higher order learning objectives. In this workshop you will learn how to achieve an optimal mix as easily as possible. A useful selection tool is also discussed.

  • you know which learning materials are related to lower to higher order learning objectives 

  • you have access to an online interactive selection tool to integrate learning materials into education, based on scientific publications 

  • you know where you can find various forms of (open) content 

  • you will receive support in how you can integrate these learning materials into your current education (design)

This workshop is part of the Library Academy. Teachers and support staff can participate in workshops from Monday January 29 to Wednesday January 31, 2024 at the Libraries of the University of Amsterdam, the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
