The workshop “Effective Searching with the UvA Library 2025–26” is designed to refresh or improve your information literacy skills. We will cover:
- UvA Library collections and online resources
- Search skills and strategies
- Evaluating the quality and reliability of sources
- Plagiarism and academic integrity
- Using citation management software
- Introducing the use of AI tools to support efficient searching and critical assessment of information
We strongly recommend all students to participate!
There are three dates available:
Wednesday, 11th of Februari: 11:00-13:00, REC, room C3.06
Wednesday, 11th of Februari: 13:00-15:00, REC, room B3.04
Thursday, 12th of Februari: 15:00-17:00, REC, room E0.04
