‘All of the facilities that this campus has to offer are strikingly easy to find’: this is the first impression that Nils Jørgen Moltubakk, Senior Advisor on Property Management at Trondheim University, gained of the Roeterseiland Campus.
He and seven colleagues visited the campus to talk about campus development. He was welcomed by project managers from the Real Estate Development Department and the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences. In Trondheim, they are about to embark on a project in which two campuses will be merged. It is particularly useful for them to learn from fellow universities at this stage. One of the ideas that the Norwegians took away with them was the efficient use of space that could be achieved by sharing it with a number of faculties.
