In earlier announcements about work on the campus you were informed that a crane would be used on the campus between Buildings E (Faculty of Economics and Business) and G (future Psychology building) on 14 September. This work has been postponed and will now take place on Wednesday 23 September.
On 7 September, a 50-metre-high tower crane will be used to lift various materials, including an extractor fan, onto the roof of Building E. On 14 September a smaller telescopic crane will be used to lift various items, such as insulation materials.
The cranes will arrive on the campus early in the morning via Nieuwe Prinsengracht. Work will start at 7:00 and continue until around 12 noon. Traffic regulators will be used to ensure the safe passage of students and staff while the work is being carried out. The bicycle park under Building E will remain accessible.
