This can help you gain insight into when people stop watching and how effective your knowledge clip is, for example. To help you get started and familiarize yourself with the possibilities of Kaltura, online training (45 minutes) are offered. During this training you learn how to use Kaltura based on practical examples.

Quizz results and Analytics

Anyone who posts a video in Kaltura can see how this video is viewed using the Analytics function. This means that teachers and students who are Owner or Co-Editor of a video on a global level have insight in the viewing behavior of the viewers, the viewers themselves do not have this option.

Anonymization

For privacy reasons, the Analytics are anonymized so that, for example, a lecturer or a fellow student at a peer review assignment, cannot see how often or how long a video is viewed by an individual student and from which location it was viewed.

With Analytics in Kaltura you will find global and detailed information on how your own videos are viewed. This provides insight into how often and for how long a viewer watches your video, how many viewers there are, from where they watch it and what part of your video is best viewed.

In case of a video quiz, as a teacher you can see the individual results of the quizzes at Kaltura Analytics. If you offer the video quiz in a Canvas Assignment you can use the Canvas Gradebook.

Please note:
he answers of open questions can only be viewed in the Kaltura Analytics section and not in the Canvas Gradebook. For more information please visit this Kaltura help page
