A report by the Kohnstamm Institute on accessibility and opportunities for students shows that the University of Amsterdam (UvA) is widely accessible and has a diverse student population in terms of gender, migrant background and socioeconomic status. Study success is related to gender, age, parental income and secondary school final exam marks, but a migrant background, the level of parental education or type of prior education do not have a structural effect.
