Minister approves UvA plans for ‘quality agreements’

Minister of Education, Culture and Science Ingrid van Engelshoven has approved the UvA's plans for the use of student loan funds, in the context of the so-called ‘Higher Education Quality Agreements’. The minister announced that she would follow the advice of NVAO (Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders) and grant the UvA ‘quality funding’ for the period 2021 to 2024.
At the beginning of October, the NVAO committee visited the UvA to evaluate the plans. This led to a positive assessment on the basis of which the NVAO advised the minister to approve the plans.
