The student assessor brings a student perspective to the meetings of the UvA's Executive Board, and is particularly involved in discussions of student and teaching-related matters.

The term of the current student assessor, Master's student Iris Kingma, ends this calendar year. In the beginning of 2020 there will be a new recruitment round. This means the term of the new assessor will shift from the calendar year to the academic year. So as a consequence, until the start of the new academic year there will not be a student sitting in on the meetings of the Executive Board.
