The international AIS Conference will take place at the UvA from 24-26 October. The theme of the conference is Interdisciplinarity in global contexts. On Saturday, 26 October we introduce the participants of the conference to your interdisciplinary research or project. You get the opportunity to show your research or project to international scientists who are engaged in interdisciplinary research and/or education.

Have you completed a special project that deserves more attention? Then submit your student research project before 17 September. Do this by sending an email with a short description of the project or research to ais2019@uva.nl with the subject Student Research Project Award and mentioning their name, email address, education, year of study, university and telephone number, a title and a 200 word description of their project. Who knows, you may present your research to scientists from all over the world in October and you have the chance to win a gift voucher worth 200 euros.

A pre-selection takes place whereby the projects are screened for the integration of knowledge from different disciplines, innovation and social relevance. The best projects will be shown on a poster, prototype or video on Saturday, 26 October. The programme committee of the conference then determines which research project will receive the award.

The AIS Conference is an annual conference for interdisciplinary researchers and educators from all over the world. The Association for Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS) is a network based in the USA.
