The P.C. Hoofthuis Library is open again. During the summer closure ca 55,000 books have been "renumbered" according to a new shelving system, the Library of Congress Classification (LCC).

The reshelving operation at the P.C. Hoofthuis is now half-way through. The coming months, a significant quantity of books will be given a new spine label and a new place on the shelves. Until Spring 2017, visitors will be faced with various shelving systems.

More and more often, the catalogue shows the current shelf number. You can't find the book? Ask the library staff at the desk.
