    Subject Librarian for the Faculty of Humanities at the University Library

    I support the following disciplines:

    • Arabic & Middle Eastern Studies
    • Linguistics
    • Classics, Ancient History & Archaeology 

    As a subject librarian, I am involved in collection development and management for the aforementioned disciplines, I teach information literacy courses and I support students, teachers and researchers in their research, teaching and learning activities.

  • Research

    Besides my work as a subject librarian, I am a PhD candidate in Arabic Sociolinguistics at the Institut National des Langues et des Civilisations Orientales (INALCO) in Paris. My dissertation deals with language variation and change as resulting from long term dialect contact among Palestinians in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
