Library Learning Centre Roeterseilandcampus is now open
800 study spaces, long opening hours
On 1 September the Library Learning Centre at Roetersstraat 11 was opened: a library service with study spaces, collections, rooms for tutorials, long opening hours, facilities, a service desk and expert staff.
At the start of the academic year 2014/2015 there are over 800 study spaces
on the first floor and higher up of building H.
On the ground floor café Krater is back unchanged. The cafeteria is back as
well, but with a completely new interior. Students and staff are also welcome
there to study or confer.
The three old practical training rooms on the third floor have been replaced by
three new, larger rooms on the first, second and third floor. What used to be
the Symposium and the Spyliaroom on the ground floor are now two quiet study
rooms. The air conditioning has also been improved. The floors form a single
space by means of a new staircase. PUUR interior architects are responsible for
the design and interior.
