The puppy room: 'A great way to take a break from your studies.'
This Monday afternoon and today, from 14:00 to 16:00, a temporary puppy room was in effect in the University Library on Singel. Under the watchful eyes of an experienced dog trainer and of course their owners, among others, ten dogs – ranging in age from a few months to seven years – paid a visit to the library. Read a few brief reactions here, and see pictures of UvA students who had the chance to spend fifteen minutes in the puppy room.
Zoë: 'It was just too cute for words. I didn't really know what to expect, but then I just didn't want to leave. So adorable. It was really fun.'
Lilian: 'I want a dog of my own. They're so sweet and cute. I feel totally relaxed.'
Matthijs: 'I thought it was really funny. A great way to take a break from your studies. We've been in the Library all week long, so we signed up straight away last week. I have an exam tomorrow.'
