Book PCs and rooms via Mapiq

Pilot at Roeterseiland Campus

29 April 2015

Via Mapiq UvA students can book rooms and computers at Roeterseiland Campus. This goes for 15 computers on the first floor of the Library Learning Centre and 13 rooms in building B.

The aim of this pilot, which continues until the autumn, is to speed up the finding of a work space.

Afterwards we'll decide if the system is to be introduced everywhere in the UvA. So please share your experiences with Mapiq with us via the ‘text balloon’ button.

The following rooms can be reserved, provided they are not needed for lectures.

How does it work

Log in with your UvAnetID to check which rooms and PCs may be booked right now and make a reservation. You’ll immediately get a confirmation mail. If you later find that the PC or the room is occupied, just show the email to your fellow student.

If there are any problems, please call the Teaching Logistics Office at 020 – 525 6800.
